VARG is not only a store but a home to the underground scene of Zurich created by Oscar: images, books, clothes, tattoos and encounters between kindred creatures. Kein Museum welcomes the collaborative store concept of Oscar and Thomi Wolfensberger for a pop-up preopening. The Swedish word Varg for wolf is part of their family crest, and the store unites the expertise and interest in the arts of father and son.
For this preopening with Kein Museum Oscar invited a selected group of international and local tattoo artists and the Berlin fashion label Endayz Berlin. He paired it with prints of Steindruckerei Wolfensberger and rarebooks by Wolfsberg Verlag. It’s a first insight into Oscars vision for a space in Zurich where artist from all over the world can meet, team up – a meeting point for the unconventional, away from established norms, where new ideas can be thought of. More events are to come before the opening of the store in the near future.
